China's Controversy
Hi, my name is Kira!
I'm in my mid-20's and am a Chinese adoptee from the Guangdong Province. I was adopted when I was 3-5 months and brought to Toronto, Ontario. My family and I moved to British Columbia, Canada. I have two annoying brothers, who aren't adopted. I graduated with a degree in Business Administration. I have completed two student exchange programs in Berlin, Germany and Okayama, Japan. I am passionate about international education and cultural awareness. I love getting to know new people, especially from other countries and learning about the world around me. I enjoy learning new languages, travelling, reading quotes and socks. I also really love potatoes, soup and eating in general.
Thank you for joining me on this journey to break the stigma around adoption!

Why Did I Make This Blog?
For years I have wanted to make a blog talking about my own adoption story. Discussing what it has been like, my opinions, my thoughts and experiences. I want adoptees to feel like they are not alone and to give awareness to non-adoptees. I want to answer the questions that non-adoptees are too afriad to ask and be a voice for the adoption community.
Hopefully just by spreading my story, I can help those around me.
